Teamspeak
TeamSpeak is software for quality voice communication via the Internet. TeamSpeak platform offers a client-server architecture where client and server software is clearly separated. This means the server product runs as a dedicated server, rather than peer-to-peer.
Installing TeamSpeak 3
- Go to http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads
- Choose your operating system and architexture
- Accept the End User License Agreement
- Run the installation
- - Hit "Next"
- - Accept the End User License Agreement
- - Choose for who you want to install the program
- - Pick a Destination Folder
- - Choose how to save the configuration file
- - Select a Start Menu folder
- - Hit "Close" and open TeamSpeak 3
Connecting to the Criten Public Teamspeak
- Hit "Connections", "Connect"
- Fill in the Server Address: ts.criten.net
- Fill in your Nickname at "Nickname"
- Hit "Connect"
Configuring TeamSpeak options
- Go to "Settings", "Options"
- Under "Playback" you can select which playback device you want to use
- Under "Capture" you can select your capture device and wether you want to use Voice Activation or Push-To-Talk
